My Story
Hello!!! And welcome to my own personal Scentsy story! At the beginning of every year, I re-visit my Scentsy story and add in my experiences throughout the past year - so here goes!
I have now been a Scentsy Consultant since 2011!! Oh lordy- that's gone fast! Not surprising I guess when you're super busy with parties, events, Scentsy meet-ups - crazy but fun, that's the important bit....
When I started my own Scentsy business, I wasn't working and I didn't think I could sell anything but I soon realized, Scentsy isn't about selling - it's about sharing. Oh and having fun too - don't forget that! Sharing my passion for fragrance and what it can do, how it can change a mood, how it can recall memories - that worked for me and I've found it works for so many other people too - friends, family, work colleagues - everyone is now loving Scentsy!
Before I joined Scentsy, I'd been looking for a while to find a business that needed to fulfill certain very important criteria - a great product that did what it said on the tin, awesome support and a fab team spirit. It also needed to be workable around my 3 children so I set myself the task of searching for the right opportunity. It had to be part-time, taking it slowly at first, dipping my toe into the water... but having the potential to build into a strong and sustainable business. As it turned out, it was my sister (living in the US) who alerted me to Scentsy's launch in the UK in April 2011. So, I took a couple of weeks to do my research - I found out all I could about the company, its ethics and products, I learned about its amazing success over the previous 8 years in America, Canada and Mexico and I spoke to friends and family in the US who actually use the Scentsy products. Everything came back so positively, I just couldn't say no! I have now 'scentsified' my home - no naked flame, no soot and no smoke works for me!
So what about pets - in our house, pets means dogs! I'm at Crufts at the NEC every year with my Scentsy busines so a huge proportion of my customers have dogs (and I don't mean one!). Scentsy for them, and for me, simply means safe and long lasting fabulous fragrances, delivered at the touch of a button - simples!
For you, your Scentsy business can be whatever you want it to be - if you love fragrance that is long lasting and safely and beautifully delivered into your home, and you know others that think like you do, you can make significant changes in your life! I have and I'm so glad I did!
